Making better Powerpoints - part 2

Ppt_wastebin_2Following one of my good intentions for 2007 -detailed in this post- Presentation Zen quotes a recent research finding that confirms my intuition (and my irritiation with 80% of Powerpoint presentations) : "it is more difficult to process information if it is coming at you both verbally and in written form at the same time".

Read the complete article here, where Garr Reynold argues that it's not the medium but the way Powerpoint is currently used that should be ditched.

I'm not agreeing with this article and I think the Microsoft Power Point remains a good application and it is useful in a lot of presentation. I never used a different software except of this to make presentations.
